Honoring Walt — 40 Years of Service and Dedication
This Veterans Day, we’re proud to honor one of our own — Walt Prigmore, who celebrates his 40th year with the Connecticut Valley Homes team. Before joining CVH, Walt served our country in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy, spending more than a decade in total military service. When asked what Veterans Day means to him, Walt shared that it’s “a time to reflect — to think back on the past.”
After joining the Marine Corps in 1967 and later serving 10 years in the Navy, reflection comes naturally to a man who has dedicated his life to service — both to his country and to our homeowners. At CVH, Walt is known for his thoughtful approach and steady reliability — qualities that have earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients alike.
When he’s not out visiting homesites in his role as Field Superintendent, Walt enjoys spending time outdoors — biking, kayaking, or playing guitar on his front porch. His appreciation for outdoor spaces extends to the homes he helps build, as he’s always drawn to designs with wraparound decks and porches that invite people to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of being outside.
Staff Pick
For his staff pick, Walt chose the Block Island for its inviting outdoor spaces. Designed with easy indoor-outdoor living in mind, a spacious wraparound porch offers the perfect space to relax, entertain, or simply take in the view. Inside, an open-concept layout connects the living areas, creating a welcoming flow that makes the most of every square foot.
Thank You, Walt
As we celebrate Veterans Day — and Walt’s 40th anniversary with Connecticut Valley Homes — we extend our deepest gratitude for his service, his dedication, and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Warmly,
The Team at Connecticut Valley Homes and Rhode Island Modular Homes
