This prestigious 2022 Home of the Year award in the under 2,500 square feet category recognizes excellence in home design using off-site modular construction. This beautiful three-bedroom, two-bath, 1,859-square-foot home is a single-story ranch with a two-car garage. This custom-designed new home showcases sleek hardwood floors and a light-filled, open-concept layout. The kitchen boasts a stunning tiled backsplash to the ceiling, a large island, and a custom baking station that offers a lower countertop allowing for easier use. The walk-in pantry allows ample storage and is tucked behind a beautifully crafted sliding barn door. The patio door bathes the dining area in natural light and opens to the outdoor living space, an outdoor patio. Space is taken advantage of in this home, offering the most convenience for everyday living and entertaining.
Awarded the 2020 Excellence in Home Design Award for 2001-3000 square feet, this modern farmhouse was custom designed by KT2 Design Group and built for a young family in Jamestown, R.I. Along the coast of the Narraganset Bay, the open concept floor plan was designed to flow from the pre-existing cottage that had been converted in to a first-floor master bedroom suite designed for aging-in-place. Upstairs has three bedrooms, a full bath with enclosed toilet and built-in shelves, and a large sitting room with homework stations set up for a family.
Awarded the 2020 Excellence in Home Design Award for 3001-4000 square feet, This modern-style, three-story home was designed by Catherine Taylor and includes a rooftop deck with panoramic views of Long Island Sound and is in Fairfield County, Conn. Steps away from Compo Beach and Yacht Club, the home was built to maximize outdoor living space. The open floor plan on the third floor takes full advantage of the waterfront views as the kitchen opens to the dining area and living room. One flight up, a spectacular fiberglass deck allows the homeowners to enjoy every bit of outdoor living.

Connecticut Valley Homes received three awards from the Building Systems Council (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Two of their custom-designed homes received the Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Home Design, one in the category of homes between 2001-3000 square feet and another for homes between 3001-4000 square feet.
The Modular Home Builders Association is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to serving modular home builders and manufacturers.
